A major redevelopment upgrade of one of Australia’s oldest surf lifesaving clubs included the installation of roller shades using Sea-Tex Non-Metallised fabric. Sea-Tex was a fitting choice for the ocean facing roller shades as the fabric is comprised of recovered ocean bound plastic, a sustainable solution for the new development. The total recovered ocean bound plastic component used at Coogee SLSC is 9.53kg.
