The Star Sovereign Resort expansion works were undertaken to the eastern side of the existing Sovereign VIP Gaming Room providing additional space including new gaming areas, kitchen and dining space. Climate Ready Fabrics remote control operated roller blinds were installed using Sea-Tex fabric in colour Haze.
Sea-Tex, made from recovered ocean bound plastic was chosen for its sustainable credentials and for clean visibility view through of the fabric for maintaining views whilst providing solar and glare control. The blinds are remote control operated and programmed to deploy evenly to a set mid point limit, providing the optimum amount of sunlight without glare.

The total recovered ocean bound plastic component used in the project is 10.5kg.
