The 5 Star Green Star rated UTS Central houses student-focused collaborative classrooms , UTS Library, scholarly reading room, collaborative classrooms, general teaching spaces and a Student Services hub.

Sea-Tex roller shade fabric and motorised systems were specified to the collaborative classrooms. Systems are controlled via AV, providing privacy, sun screening and glare control. Sea-Tex made with 50% recovered ocean bound plastic and associated environmental certification helped towards the innovative building’s sustainable credentials.
